Organic in the past has been very overrated & overpriced. You pay over the odds for a rustic country style wine that frankly did not match up.
NOW - thinks have changed & there are some superb ORGANIC Wines available & I am pleased to say this is ONE of them.
Rich full & oppulent with a good balaance & structure. Loads of flavour, big & chunky & loads of aftertaste. Not expensive for this class of wine. This may also be kept for several years as it has good integrated tannins but is fine now matched with the right meal.

Talijancich is certified Demeter Bio-Dynamic & was the first winery in Western Australia to be so.
"Bio-Dynamics is an organic farming method suited to all types of farm production, that is geared towards improving and regenerating the soil and overall farm integrity through the use of a unique range of Bio-Dynamic preparations which stimulate soil micro-life activity and atmospheric balance. These special potentised preparations are used in small quantities over a large area and consistently achieve dramatic results in a relatively short period.
Bio-Dynamics was first described in 1924 by Austrian philosopher Dr. Rudolf Steiner after requests from farmers who noticed that their crops of potatoes, grains and vegetables were lacking in taste and that animals were succumbing to health problems not formerly noticed.
In Australia these practices spread widely from the early 1950's.
Demeter Bio-Dynamic farmers develop skills to "culture" the soil. When a certain standard of Bio-Dynamic Development has been established, farmers may apply to the Bio-Dynamic Research Institute to become certificate users of the Demeter Trademark. This international trademark was registered in 1967 in Australia by the Bio-Dynamic Research Institute.
