    From a Tiny Estate in the Boutenac Region of Corbieres. Boutenac is likely to gain a Cru Classe status from 2008 as the best area of the Corbieres Region. Nadine Adenis (a freelance wine journalist) has devoted all her time, energy & considerable knowledge of winemaking into two magnificent wines. This 'La Mariole' comes from a small 2 hectare plot & is 100% Carignan. Carignan is the traditional grape of the Corbieres Region - very old vines with an average of over 60 years - with low yields of 18 hectolitres per hectare ( normal is 60+)
    A full bodied ,well-balances & expressive wine. Smooth & dry with gentle flavours. A wine to enjoy with Roast Lamb & similar dishes.
