Big, rich & flavoursome. Smooth fruit, deep flavour & spicy finish. Highly recommended as a wine which outshines its appellation. Consistantly an award winning wine which has a superb balance. You would not feel at first that this wine has keeping qualities but we have been amazed when we have pulled out wines of older vintages as how good they are. Wonderfully soft & well balanced. This wine is great now & will also age well for 5 years+.

This is a superb Rhone - 68% Grenache with 32% Syrah - incredible balance & structure with deep fruit flavour & softly balanced tannins. Ageing from 2 - 5 years. Chateau de Gicon is a wonderful 30 acre site with Gallo - Roman remains of a villa on a lovely hillside high up in the Rhone. This is a great wine!
