Located in eastern France, Beaujolais overlaps Burgundy and Rhône. The region has perfect growing conditions, the granite-based soils lend excellent structure to the wines and this region receives large amounts of sunshine. The Gamay grape is used to make the majority of Beaujolais wines and all the grapes are hand harvested.
We have Seven different Beaujolais's available at York Wines.
