Wine, we love it and if you’ve arrived here you probably do too and are looking to buy wine. It is our aim to bring to you the very best wines from around the world and so the wines we stock have to be exclusive and of a very high standard, so that when you buy wine from us you get the very best, every time. We taste all the wines before we decide to stock them, and we taste every vintage of every wine before deciding upon which bring the best quality to our range. We know it's a hard life, but somebody has to do it. If a wine is not good enough or a vintage is not good enough then we will simply not stock it.

At York Wines we operate a no hidden charges policy. We don’t like nasty surprises so why would we bestow them on you. When you buy wine from ourselves we try to pass on the best savings possible such as twelve bottles or above and the delivery is free to all United Kingdom mainland addresses. If you live in Northern Ireland or the Scottish Highlands a small surcharge will be added but you will be informed of the actual amount before you commit to purchase. Other costs are firmly stated on our website when you buy wine from ourselves but we endeavour to pass savings on to you.
