This Corte Adami Amarone della Valpolicella is an outstanding red wine. Corte Adami Amarone della Valpolicella is made from the Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella Grape varieties. The grapes are laid out in small boxes to dry and to shriven them and to concentrate the flavours. The wine is then aged in small oak barrels. The result is a luscious deep red wine that is superbly soft and elegant. Deep smooth flavours of Christmas cake and spices, generous strong and sweet with a rich spicy cherry finish. This Amarone della Valpolicella is one to share with special friends and to drink on special occasions. Rated 92 Points by James Suckling.
