Single Malt Whiskey is a super beverage which is made with all of the malted grain being used for the mash, the single malt comes only from one distillery and it is this exclusiveness that makes this a prestigious drink. Whisky was formerly known as the Water of Life in years gone by due to its reported healing properties, as it was originally used as a healing balm as well as a drink.

In this section we will take snap shot of some of the single malts that we have to order online starting with the Caol Ila, a nineteen ninety one, fifteen year old single cask Highland Malt. This is a clear and bright whiskey which is pale straw in colour. This drink offers a huge smokey nose with burning embers. This is a rich and concentrated almost liker a roaring Peat Fire. This is a classic Islay Malt with a long smoky finish. This is a single cask malt whisky available in very limited quantities. Bottled at natural strength, colour and without any unnecessary chill filtration there were only three hundred and nineteen bottles produced and we have only six.

Next we have the Highland Park single malt, this is a nineteen eighty one single cask with a distinct mid gold colour and offers the drinker superb almond biscuit aromas with biting zest. This has a unique character with excellent style, all in all a real gem. With only two hundred and fifty bottles ever made to try one is something special. We have six bottles of this one so get in quick to avoid disappointment.
