Wine Merchant
There are many wine merchants in the United Kingdom; some big, some medium and some small, we are one of the latter. A family business predominately, with a small group of serious wine professionals who are all very passionate about wine. We, as you might guess from our name are based in the historic city of York our shop has been described as 'Olde-Worlde' and as an 'Enchanting and Tranquil' place where you can visit, browse and indulge yourself in a tasting session of some of our favourite wines.
Our life as wine merchants began over twenty years ago and since the inception of the World Wide Web we have literally gone from humble beginnings to a global distributor. As grand as that sounds we should point out that we operate in a niche market (as far as exporting goes) and so are able to keep it personal, we try to offer our customers in the United States the same service we provide right here in historic York. It is the internet that has allowed us to do this and this means better prices for our customers and a wider range of wine to try, rather than just the big names.
