A classic Saint Julien with dominant Cabernet Sauvignon which gives a rich ripe fullness which will keep on developing over the Years. Deep, full, rich and velvety. 2016 is one of the best vintages. 55% Cab Sauv 37% Merlot 8% Cab Franc. The Barton family can trace thier roots i Bordeaux all the way back to 1722. This wine has a succinct bouquet, with hints of black and red fruit, leather and brown spice are just noticeable in the background.
