The very vigorous Chardonnay vine is successfully grown throughout Italy, but in Piedmont, in the provinces of Alessandria, Asti and Cuneo, the production has obtained DOC recognition, confirming the excellence achieved by the product in this area. Il Botolo`s Piemonte DOC Chardonnay is a fresh wine, Straw yellow colour with shades tending towards sage green the nose is fresh, floral, fruity, with characteristic hints of banana and green apple. In the mouth it is pleasant, harmonious, velvety. Balanced, refined wine, with good structure and persistence.
