Domaine Gautheron Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin is one of the stars from Domaine Gautheron. Domaine Gautheron is situated in the village of Fleys, to the east of the town of Chablis and overlooked by the steep slopes of les Fourneaux. This estate of only 25 hectares has been in the Gautheron family for five generations. The domaine makes traditional Chablis, with fermentation and maturation avoiding wood to preserve the fresh steely flavours and unique influence of the chalky vineyard soils. The old vine cuvees exceed 65 years old and are partly matured in oak. Since 2009 a 0.4ha plot of organic vineyard has produced the cuvee Emeraude. This traditional style of Chablis is made from old Chardonnay vines grown in the prestige 1er Cru vineyard `Vaucoupin`. It has fresh, floral aromas of apple blossom combined with a creamy texture and distinct mineral complexity"

- Free next day nationwide delivery (to most UK mainland addresses) for orders more than £125.
- Standard delivery charge for orders under £125 is £7.95.
- It is possible to schedule delivery for a Saturday and the charge is £12.95.
