Olive trees first arrived in Argentina during the 19th century when they were brougth to the country by European immigrants. Since then they have shared Zuccardi`s beautiful vineyards, located at the foot of the Andes mountains, initially as a source of income should the vines fail, but now as much apart of ythe Zuccardi family as the wines themselves. The Los Olivos range of Uco Valley wines was created in honour of the noble olive tree and the part it has played in the family story.
This blend was made with a selection of grapes from different regions of the Uco Valley, where the soils are very heterogeneous and have a high content of calcareous material.
