Saladini Pilastri Rosso Piceno 2020
Saladini Pilastri Rosso Picenco 2020 is made in Le Marche in the east of Italy, this blend of mainly sangiovese with a dash of montepulciano is bursting with juicy cherry and red berry scents, with soft tannins and a moreish, refreshing finish. This wine pairs easily with a wide range of foods, but is perfect with hearty Italian fare. The history of the Saladini Pilastri estate stretches back to 1000 AD and the 325 hectares of vineyards cover the limestone hills of Spinetoli and the rolling sunny hills of Monte Prandone and Porto d`Ascoli. The family have been here from the beginning and the land is vitally important to them, so much so that this was the first estate in Italy to be certified organic in 1994
