We are delighted to introduce our fantastic Apollonis House Champagne from the superb independent producer - Michel Loirot. In addition to the family heritage of creating world class champagne, Michel also possesses a passion for music. With partner Martine Pierson, he settled on his vineyard in 1977 with a small gathering of vines and began combining both his passion for music and his champagne vocation by playing carefully selected music to his vines to better resist diseases and enhance the capacity of the grapes.
Named after the God of Music, Apollonis Michel Loriot is produced solely from Pinot Meunier grapes.
The fruit is a subtle blend of reserve wines from several harvests. It is the flagship of Loriot Champagnes and is supple and round with a wonderfully fruity taste.
Fresh and inviting on the nose, with crisp biscuity aromas. On the palate lovely and sparkly with a fresh tingly mouth feel.
